The win was the 11th in a row for the Cavaliers who are now 13-1 on the season. In this week's national polls, Virginia is ranked No. 21 in The Associated Press poll and No. 23 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll.
The loss broke a seven-game LSU winning streak and dropped the Tigers' record to 10-4.
It's the first time Virginia has won 11 consecutive games since the 1992-93 season and the Cavaliers are 13-1 to open a season for the first time since the 1981-82 season.
Zeglinski led UVa with 17 points and Harris finished with 14 points and five rebounds. Scott scored 12 points and had a team-high nine rebounds.
Virginia returns to action on Saturday (Jan. 7) when the Cavaliers open Atlantic Coast Conference play against Miami at John Paul Jones Arena. That game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will be televised by ESPNU.
